You might not need a drink to have a good time but getting married in a distillery is definitely one way to combine the two! And if a distillery is the venue that you'd like for your big day, then you'll be spoilt for choice in the highlands. The Flemming Rooms (named after its founder) at Aberlour Distillery in Banffshire is a great location for a whisky-themed wedding and can hold around 50 guests.  The Temple is consecrated as Scottish Episcopalian but services from any sect of Christianity or Humanism are permitted to take place there. it is not yet registered for civil weddings. A lack of electricity at this B-listed building (capacity 30) necessitates a romantic candlelit service all year round.

The local villages of Kiltarlity and Beauly offer a number of options for receptions and accommodation such as Brokie's Lodge Hotel or the Loval Arms Hotel... Rau Reidh Lighthouse is another option for folks looking for an out of the ordinary accommodation option for the bid day. Costs to rent the lighthouse, which sits on a remote peninsula near the village of Gairlock are dependent of a minimum two-night stay (three nights in high season) and start from £618. During the spring and summer months all meals can be provided at a reasonable cost (dinner from £15pp) in the large conservatory dining room (capacity 26).
